It received two IDEA Awards. Published globally by Japanese publisher, viction:ary and exhibited by the Mart—Museo di arte moderna e contemporanea di Trento e Rovereto in Italy.

The Menos1Lixo Cup

The Menos1Lixo Cup

Designed and developed for a movement in Brazil called Menos1Lixo—translating to Less1Trash—to eliminate disposable cups by creating a reusable and practical alternative.

It is a piece of locally produced functional Ecodesign. Following Bolei's principles it was designed for disassembly, and from there, it became widespread all over Brazil, saving more than a billion disposable cups in almost 10 years.

Made 100% cotton paper and reforested pine wood, laser cut and fit together without glue or screws for easy assembly or disassembly. Flat-packed and [mostly] biodegradable.

KIOSK OI · Democratizing a Telecom Experience

A Flag Ship experience democratized!
Bringing all Oi Telecom’s portfolio, usually present in a whole store, to fit in a 10m² and 6m² kiosks.

Fulfilling all requirements of exhibition, affordability, accessibility, and modularity. Allowing changes between closed and interactive display cabinets while making the Kiosk stand out even in a chaotic shopping environment (malls, fairs, and events).

Accessibility requirements following ergonomy principles allow anyone to have a complete experience of the brand within the Kiosk. I followed the production together with a supplier in the South of the country to guarantee we’d have the durability and quality needed while keeping it on a tight budget. This way the project could reach all corners of Brazil.

Due to its strategic reasoning, the Oi kiosk was featured at the Fuori Salone in Milan during the Design Week ‘14, and was recognized with an IDEA Brasil Award.

KIOSK OI · Research to Democratize a Telecom Experience

A Flag Ship experience democratized!

Extensive ethnographic research was key to understanding and fix usability problems rather than to define the project’s main insight, the customer's flow.

Designed to take advantage of the natural flow of customers inside shopping malls, exploiting the corners and frontal faces as main attraction points.

One curious aspect of the process of this project was that each designer involved got to create their own concept, each one defending their own Kiosk to the client and my version, rooted deeply in the observation of the real relationship people have with it. From inside and outside, made mine the one chosen by the client.
